    The Liteblox LB12XX and LB20xx (available to EU customers only) batteries are a further stage of the common LiPO batteries, on which the lithium cobalt cathode has been replace by a lithium iron phosphate. It is capable of high charge / discharge currents, withstands extreme temperatures and an expanded lifespan. While the LiFePO4 cells are actually quite expensive, whereas the technique itself comes with significant advantages over the conventional vehicle starter batteries. The benefits are: no fire hazard, fail safe withstands overcharge / deep discarge capable of high charge/discarge currents expanded life cycles withstands extreme temperatures.

     

    You can nearly draw all the energy saved in a LiFePO4 cell whereas from a lead-acid cell it is around 30-35%. Furthermore you can start your car more times repeatable because the voltage stays consistent over the whole decharging process, whereas lead-acid is dropping rapidly.

     

    From Liteblox LB14XX you can draw 150W power for 30 minutes and still being able to start your vehicle afterwards. A small 2,0L turbo engine with low combustion rate can be started >30times with the LB14XX (fully charged / cold engine @ RT).

     

    Liteblox batteries also feature innovative & smart electronics for kill-switch via Smartphone App in two different programs: 1.) I.K.O.S. – Intelligent Kill-Operation-Switch: effective disconnection of the Liteblox from the vehicle due to overload or via Smartphone (emergency or extended sitting periods), similar to the common FIA kill-off switch 2.) A.V.A.T. – Active Vehicle Anti Theft: while all consumers are still being provided with energy, the Liteblox will instantly shut down at any theft attempt.

     

    Liteblox LB12xx is the smalest and lightest battery available for 4C. It comes at 1400g and features fully carbon housing. To fit this onto your Alfa Romeo 4C, we have GMS lightweight battery bracket available here. This assembly will save over 16kg of weight over OEM setup (bracket + battery) and is suggested for track use only.

     

    Liteblox LB20xx is slightly larger and higher capacity battery available for 4C. It comes at 2200g and features fully carbon housing. To fit this onto your Alfa Romeo 4C, we have GMS lightweight battery bracket available here. This assembly will save over 15kg of weight over OEM setup (bracket + battery) and is suggested for track and daily use.
