GMS Stage I engine tune, developed in cooperation with Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Abarth ECU and TCU tuning specialized company - CT by Graham C. in UK, extracts potent and reliable power and torque figures from this Ferrari derived, mighty 2.9 V6 turbo engine.
Arguably the ultimate engine tune on the market, for stock or lightly tuned Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio engine. Why? Because we believe there is more to an engine tune than just dyno horsepower chart. Our tune can yield +90hp more than OEM engine tune in high rpm, + 150Nm of torque, revving all the way to the redline without a hesitation. It smoothly delivers boost, providing user friendly low and midrange torque without spiking and good throttle modulation. No torque spiking means reduced stress on the drivetrain and powertrain. A tune that doesn't kick and fight you but responds to your throttle input in a direct manner. Ignition timing, boost pressure, fueling tables, camshaft timing and many other inputs have all been optimized to deliver strong and reliable engine tune, suitable for road and track use.
GMS Stage I ECU tune can deliver higher peak power with up to +60hp and +120Nm on 100% stock engine and up to 90hp and +150Nm with supporting mods (GMS 4" exhaust system). This configuration, can deliver approx 1.5s faster 100km/h - 200km/h times than OEM (*depends of the car configuration / weight), so we're looking at low 7.2s, 100 - 200km/h which renders already fast Giulia Quadrifoglio even faster - a serious fast sedan.
All tunes are based on our baseline tune, but each tune is optimized according to the customer's supporting mods (exhaust) and fuel grade (92, 95, 98, 100 RON / AKI). Each tune also offers various options you can choose from and personalize your engine characteristics.
GMS Stage I tune also incorporates various maps that are chosen via DNA drive mode selector. In A and N, power, torque, boost and throttle response is reduced. In D and R mode, full boost, torque and power is available, along with sharper throttle response.
Start & stop delete available as an option.
Decat / high flow cat CEL (check engine light) delete, available as an option for those running free flow exhaust systems with 200 cell cats or decat.
Revised exhaust mode - flaps fully opened in D and R mode, instead of being rpm related in D mode. Available as an option.
You can opt for aggressive hard cut limiter (ignition cut) over standard soft cut (fuel cut) for more lively engine feel. Are there parts on a track that you are not sure whether you should shift or not? In OEM format, hitting the rpm limiter, cuts the fuel supply and bogs down the car, so shifting is a must. With GMS revised hard cut, hitting the limiter becomes a whole now experience now. The choice is your, shift or bounce of the limiter. There is no excessive bogging, so once you shift in higher gear, the shifts are far less abrupt and easier on the gearbox than before.
Pops and bangs are optional, for those who want to wreck havoc on the street and track. These can be easily controlled by throttle modulation. Drive normally with no abrupt throttle lift off and there will be no excessive noise. Push the car hard and abruptly lift off the throttle and the unburnt fuel in the exhaust system will cause pops and bangs. Due to thermal stress of pops and bangs effect, we do not recommend pops and pangs on cars with OEM exhaust system and track driven cars.

Users with fuel grade lower than 98 RON or 93 AKI, leave a note so we tune the map accordingly.
Due to higher torque output, we strongly suggest upgrading the TCU unit to GMS Stage I TCU as well.
